About this role
Baseten is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design and build scalable, reliable infrastructure for AI model deployment and inference. You'll work on multi-cloud capacity management, GPU optimization, and CI/CD automation while collaborating with leading AI companies and learning about ML operationalization.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain scalable infrastructure for deploying and operating machine learning models
- Establish reliability and performance standards across the platform
- Automate deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines
- Own projects end-to-end from specification through execution with user focus
- Collaborate across teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the organization

- Kubernetes
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
- CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Scalable infrastructure design and maintenance
