Manufacturing Quality Engineer II
About this role
Axon seeks a Manufacturing Quality Engineer II to ensure high-quality production across the full product lifecycle. You'll lead quality initiatives including CAPA investigations, process validation, and continuous improvement while supporting cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.
What you'll do
- Lead nonconforming material reviews and manage material dispositions with cross-functional teams
- Drive 8D investigations and root cause analysis; implement corrective and preventive actions
- Develop and maintain FAIR, PPAP documentation, and AQL sampling plans
- Support new product introduction through validation, process control, and risk mitigation (PFMEA)
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems and use DMAIC for continuous improvement
- Manage quality documentation, participate in audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards

- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Statistical analysis software (Minitab, JMP)
- GD&T, engineering drawings, and inspection techniques
- Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100)
- IPC-A-610 and industry standard knowledge
- Problem-solving and technical report writing
- MS Office proficiency
