About this role

Avride seeks a hands-on Site Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain server hardware and networking infrastructure across autonomous vehicle facilities in Austin. You'll oversee custom server deployments, enterprise network equipment, and physical site operations while supporting R&D and fleet scaling.

What you'll do

  • Assemble, image, rack, and cable custom servers with advanced CPUs and GPUs
  • Deploy and maintain network switches, routers, and structured cabling across multiple locations
  • Troubleshoot hardware, network, and ISP connectivity issues end-to-end
  • Select optimal server configurations based on workload requirements
  • Manage physical infrastructure including rack layouts, power, cooling, and equipment lifecycle
  • Create documentation including runbooks, diagrams, and configuration guides
