About this role

Assort Health seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end technical implementations of AI agents for healthcare systems. You'll build custom integrations, design intelligent workflows, and launch production agents serving thousands of daily patient interactions while partnering with product and sales teams.

What you'll do

  • Lead healthcare system implementations from technical scoping through production go-live and optimization
  • Build custom integrations with complex healthcare platforms including EHRs, scheduling systems, and patient engagement tools
  • Design and deploy intelligent AI workflows tailored to customer specialties and operational constraints
  • Debug integration issues across phone systems, insurance verification, and clinical protocols
  • Identify patterns across implementations to inform product features and influence platform direction
  • Work with sales to scope technical requirements and demonstrate capabilities to prospects
