About this role
Artian AI is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to build platform infrastructure for autonomous AI agents in financial services. You'll design and implement core services, APIs, and orchestration systems that enable reliable AI automation across regulated enterprise environments.
What you'll do
- Develop backend services, APIs, and platform primitives for the AI automation platform
- Design orchestration, state management, permissions, and observability systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to expose model and agent capabilities through production services
- Build secure, scalable data flows across customer workflows and platform components
- Enhance platform reliability, performance, testing, and developer velocity
- Work with product and solutions teams to translate customer requirements into reusable capabilities
