About this role
Arlo is seeking a Product Engineer to build AI-powered features for their healthcare insurance platform serving tens of thousands of members. You'll work across the full stack (React, React Native, Python, Postgres) to create intuitive user experiences that integrate sophisticated LLM capabilities into their member-facing applications.
What you'll do
- Develop and ship full-stack features across web and mobile applications using React, React Native, and TypeScript
- Partner with the AI team to integrate LLM agents into conversational user interfaces
- Own features from concept through production, including backend APIs and frontend implementations
- Build AI-powered triage tools and care partner chat interfaces for member guidance
- Develop proactive health engine systems connecting AI insights to personalized member experiences
- Maintain high code quality standards and leverage AI-assisted development tools

- Full-stack development (Python, Postgres, TypeScript, React, React Native)
- Product thinking and user experience design
- Building consumer applications from 0-to-1
- Integrating LLMs and novel AI technologies into products
- Modern engineering practices and code quality standards
- Regulated industry experience (healthcare or fintech preferred)
- UI/UX design sensibility
- AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot)
