About this role

Arena Intelligence, a platform for evaluating AI model performance, seeks a Founding Product Security Engineer to build and lead security infrastructure from the ground up. You'll design authentication systems, secure the model inference path, conduct threat modeling, and embed security into the product's core architecture while mentoring the team.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement identity, authentication, authorization, and account-lifecycle systems
  • Secure the end-to-end model inference path including credential handling and secret exfiltration protections
  • Lead threat modeling and security architecture reviews for product features
  • Create secure-by-default frameworks and libraries to improve developer velocity
  • Partner with incident response to assess, contain, and remediate security events
  • Mentor engineers on secure coding practices and security architecture trade-offs
