Archer, an electric aircraft manufacturer in San Jose, seeks a Flight Test Instrumentation Manufacturing Engineer to manage the planning, manufacturing, and installation of test instrumentation systems for their eVTOL aircraft. What you'll do
- Plan manufacturing and installation of flight test instrumentation hardware on experimental and production aircraft
- Lead build and assembly integration of aircraft flight test instrumentation systems
- Collaborate with design engineering to develop installation and assembly strategies
- Design instrumentation wiring, racks, air data booms, telemetry systems, and related hardware
- Manage make/buy decisions and vendor coordination for flight test equipment
- Develop procurement, installation, and checkout processes and documentation
