About this role

Arc is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to design and integrate high and low voltage electrical systems for commercially electrified marine vessels. You'll own the full lifecycle from architecture through sea trials, working cross-functionally with software teams and suppliers to bring next-generation electric marine technology to market.

What you'll do

  • Design and integrate HV/LV electrical systems and power distribution for commercial vessels
  • Develop electrical topologies, I/O maps, and wiring harness specifications
  • Write functional specifications and collaborate with software teams on hardware-software integration
  • Conduct hardware trade studies, component selection, and supplier evaluation
  • Test, troubleshoot, and debug systems in benchtop, HIL, and field environments
  • Support sea trials and interface with shipyards and vessel operators
