About this role
Apptronik seeks a Hardware Test Engineer to develop and validate robotic hand hardware for their Apollo humanoid robot. Working embedded within the Dexterity R&D team, you'll own test strategy, fixture design, and execution across mechanical and electrical systems, with direct influence on design decisions.
What you'll do
- Define test strategy and author structured test plans with traceability from requirements through system-level validation
- Assemble instrumented test articles and execute tests from component to integrated system levels
- Design and fabricate custom test fixtures and benchtop setups for rapid prototyping
- Analyze test data, diagnose failures, and produce reports with design recommendations
- Consult on design-for-test early in development and support harness design and documentation
- Manage test documentation in PLM systems and maintain active feedback loops with cross-functional teams
