About this role

AnySignal seeks a Digital Electrical Engineer to design and develop advanced PCBs for space and defense RF communication systems. You'll lead high-speed digital hardware development from concept through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex, space-qualified electronics.

What you'll do

  • Design high-speed digital hardware including processors, FPGAs, memory, and interfaces
  • Perform board architecture and component selection trade studies
  • Create schematics and layouts for space-grade PCBs
  • Conduct bring-up and testing of new hardware designs
  • Collaborate with RF, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams across the full product lifecycle
  • Ensure thermal management and compliance with space qualification requirements

  • Altium Designer or similar EDA tools
  • Xilinx RFSoC/MPSoC system design and debugging
  • SoC bootup stack debugging (baremetal, bootloader, Linux)
  • Digital and power electronics modeling and simulation
  • FMEA (Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis)
  • Mixed-signal circuit board design (DDR4, Ethernet, Serdes, analog converters)
  • Power tree design with complex sequencing
