About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Tooling Engineer to design and deploy fixtures, jigs, gauges, and specialized tooling for precision defense hardware manufacturing. You'll own tooling solutions from concept through production, collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to enable scalable, high-quality production of advanced systems.

What you'll do

  • Lead tooling development from concept to production, creating fixtures and assembly aids for Sentry products
  • Design, validate, and coordinate tooling solutions with suppliers while resolving technical issues
  • Develop detailed CAD models, drawings, specifications, and work instructions for manufacturing consistency
  • Apply DFM/DFA, GD&T, and value engineering principles to balance precision, cost, and manufacturability
  • Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and production ramps across internal and contract manufacturing sites
  • Drive cost savings and process improvements through root cause analysis and corrective actions
