About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Test Automation Engineer to design and deliver comprehensive test systems for electronic products used in aerial and ground-based defense systems. You'll lead end-of-line test planning, develop test automation hardware, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency from prototype through production.
What you'll do
- Lead end-of-line test plan definition for new products in collaboration with firmware, software, and hardware teams
- Design and implement test automation hardware systems for fast and repeatable product testing
- Develop test procedures and automation strategies from component to system level
- Perform data analysis and communicate results to resolve product issues found during testing
- Support board bring-up, design-for-test feedback, and manufacturing test yield optimization
- Execute purchasing, build, integration, and commissioning of functional test equipment

- Functional test equipment design (5+ years)
- Schematic capture and PCBA layout (Altium Designer preferred)
- Programming and scripting (C/C++/C#, Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW)
- Communication bus protocols (USB, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, CAN, HDMI, etc.)
- Measurement analysis (Gage R&R, Process Capability Analysis)
- Hardware and software integration and testing
- Source code control and version management (GitHub)
- RF test equipment and RF component testing (preferred)
