About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Test Automation Engineer to design and deliver comprehensive test systems for electronic products used in aerial and ground-based defense systems. You'll lead end-of-line test planning, develop test automation hardware, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency from prototype through production.

What you'll do

  • Lead end-of-line test plan definition for new products in collaboration with firmware, software, and hardware teams
  • Design and implement test automation hardware systems for fast and repeatable product testing
  • Develop test procedures and automation strategies from component to system level
  • Perform data analysis and communicate results to resolve product issues found during testing
  • Support board bring-up, design-for-test feedback, and manufacturing test yield optimization
  • Execute purchasing, build, integration, and commissioning of functional test equipment

  • Functional test equipment design (5+ years)
  • Schematic capture and PCBA layout (Altium Designer preferred)
  • Programming and scripting (C/C++/C#, Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW)
  • Communication bus protocols (USB, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, CAN, HDMI, etc.)
  • Measurement analysis (Gage R&R, Process Capability Analysis)
  • Hardware and software integration and testing
  • Source code control and version management (GitHub)
  • RF test equipment and RF component testing (preferred)
