About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Systems Engineer to join the Battlespace Awareness team in developing advanced tactical command and control software. You'll bridge system design, requirements management, modeling/simulation, and validation activities for mission-critical defense systems that integrate complex hardware, sensors, and software components.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and validate algorithmic capabilities including tracking, sensor management, and threat forecasting
- Lead requirements decomposition across cross-functional teams and define success metrics amid ambiguity
- Develop modeling and simulation frameworks to validate performance under various scenarios
- Create test plans, acceptance criteria, and analysis tools to evaluate system performance
- Own end-to-end system integration, identifying and solving cross-functional problems
- Verify customer requirements are met and trace performance as systems evolve using field data
