About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Chief Engineer to lead technical strategy and execution for advanced spacecraft systems focused on dynamic space operations and maneuverable satellites. You'll oversee multi-disciplinary teams through all development phases, integrating propulsion, sensors, guidance, and ground software while managing partnerships and ensuring on-orbit mission success.
What you'll do
- Develop technical strategy and roadmap for spacecraft missions leveraging Anduril and new technologies
- Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams through design, build, test, and on-orbit delivery phases
- Oversee complex system integration across propulsion, optical sensors, guidance, navigation, and ground software
- Conduct mission and system-level trade studies balancing risk, cost, and performance
- Provide technical inputs to proposals and manage program execution from SRR through TRR and launch delivery
- Facilitate cross-company technical development with subcontractors and strategic partners in agile environments
