About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Chief Engineer to lead technical strategy and execution for advanced spacecraft systems focused on dynamic space operations and maneuverable satellites. You'll oversee multi-disciplinary teams through all development phases, integrating propulsion, sensors, guidance, and ground software while managing partnerships and ensuring on-orbit mission success.

What you'll do

  • Develop technical strategy and roadmap for spacecraft missions leveraging Anduril and new technologies
  • Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams through design, build, test, and on-orbit delivery phases
  • Oversee complex system integration across propulsion, optical sensors, guidance, navigation, and ground software
  • Conduct mission and system-level trade studies balancing risk, cost, and performance
  • Provide technical inputs to proposals and manage program execution from SRR through TRR and launch delivery
  • Facilitate cross-company technical development with subcontractors and strategic partners in agile environments
