About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Software Test Engineer to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for defense technology software solutions across desktop, embedded, and custom hardware platforms. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery for intelligence community customers, managing complex test plans and driving end-to-end quality assurance.

What you'll do

  • Write, maintain, and execute detailed test plans for full-stack and user-facing software on custom and embedded hardware
  • Perform manual and automated testing including functionality, performance, and reliability checks across multiple projects
  • Develop creative and reusable testing approaches for complex custom solutions with performance characterization
  • Analyze test results, report findings to cross-functional teams, and support bug resolution with developers
  • Execute and analyze simulations including simulated operational environments
  • Coordinate testing efforts across multiple projects and with external teams or subcontractors
