About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Software Engineer specializing in robotics to develop autonomous air defense systems that detect and neutralize airborne threats. You'll architect core libraries and scalable subsystems for collaborative robot teams, working across sensor integration, perception, motion planning, and testing in a mission-driven defense technology environment.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain critical libraries and services for multi-robot coordination including frame transformations and targeting systems
- Lead feature development for complex autonomous systems including perception architecture, motion planning, and health management
- Implement scalable subsystems for sensor processing, tracking, anomaly detection, and vehicle interfaces
- Collaborate with hardware teams and subject matter experts to align requirements and iterate on product designs
- Develop simulation and test infrastructure to validate autonomous behaviors
- Troubleshoot and optimize remotely deployed software systems in operational environments
