About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Robotics to develop autonomous systems for air defense applications. You'll design and maintain critical software libraries and subsystems that enable collaborative robotic teams to detect and counter aerial threats, working in an expedient and pragmatic engineering environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain core libraries and services for collaborative robotic systems including frame transformations and guidance algorithms
- Own feature development and rollout of complex products involving systems analysis, sensor integration, and perception architecture
- Implement scalable subsystems for sensor processing, perception, tracking, motion planning, and health management
- Collaborate with hardware teams and subject matter experts to align on requirements and iterate on designs
- Build simulation and test infrastructure to validate system performance
- Troubleshoot and analyze remotely deployed software systems in operational environments
