Software Engineer - Maritime Integrated Systems
About this role
Anduril's Maritime Division seeks a Senior Software Engineer to architect and deliver integrated software systems for autonomous underwater and maritime platforms. You'll own end-to-end software solutions across autonomy, simulation, data processing, and command & control, working with a multidisciplinary team to scale next-generation defense capabilities.
What you'll do
- Design and implement scalable software for autonomous maritime platforms (Dive-XL, Dive-LD, Copperhead, Seabed Sentry)
- Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, balancing end-user needs with operational constraints
- Develop on-board and off-board software using various technologies for robotic platforms
- Lead design and development of reusable software services across Anduril product lines
- Create test and simulation fixtures with hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop capabilities
- Mentor junior engineers and travel up to 20% for customer collaboration and deployments
