About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Reliability Engineer to ensure autonomous defense systems perform reliably across their complete lifecycle, from design concept through field operations. You'll leverage data analysis and engineering expertise to drive design robustness, conduct failure investigations, and establish reliability frameworks across multiple defense domains.

What you'll do

  • Lead FMEA, FTA, and predictive reliability analyses using industry standards like MIL-HDBK-217Plus
  • Develop and execute qualification, validation, and production test plans with cross-functional test engineering teams
  • Investigate field and production failures, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to closure
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to optimize assembly processes and production readiness
  • Develop maintainability models and preventative maintenance plans using MIL-HDBK-472
  • Perform Weibull analysis on test and field data to predict failure trends and support milestone reviews
