About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Product Sourcing Engineer for its maritime division to manage supplier relationships and optimize the cost and supply chain strategy for hardware products throughout their lifecycle. You'll collaborate across engineering, quality, and manufacturing to drive strategic sourcing decisions, cost reduction, and efficient production ramp-up.
What you'll do
- Conduct supplier selection and partner with strategic suppliers on design development, cost modeling, and requirements scoping
- Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOMs while managing CAPEX throughout new product introduction
- Perform value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility
- Complete BOM risk assessments, component qualifications, and alternate sourcing strategies
- Lead cost engineering activities to optimize total cost of ownership across product lifecycle
- Manage supply chain issues including tariffs, import/export costs, and cost inflation
