About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to develop high-fidelity virtual representations of advanced aerospace systems including tactical missiles and autonomous vehicles. You'll create simulation solutions (SITL, HITL, PITL) for guidance and control algorithms while supporting flight testing and system integration across multiple programs.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain physics-based vehicle and subsystem models with appropriate fidelity for flight control and autonomy software integration
  • Design and deploy Software-In-The-Loop, Hardware-In-The-Loop, and Pilot-In-The-Loop simulation solutions for algorithm development and testing
  • Conduct Monte-Carlo simulations and test data analysis to support system performance evaluation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand subsystem dynamics and modeling requirements
  • Own end-to-end configuration of simulation environments for safe and efficient flight tests
  • Work with internal and external customers to define simulation requirements and deliver efficient solutions

What they're looking for

  • Flight dynamics and platform physics modeling
  • C/C++ programming
  • MATLAB/Simulink and scientific Python (NumPy, SciPy)
  • Aerospace/aeronautical systems knowledge
  • Flight test data processing and simulation correlation
  • Software integration and coding practices
  • GNC (Guidance, Navigation, Control) algorithm development support
  • Systems engineering and multidisciplinary collaboration
