About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an early-career Mission Engineer to conduct rigorous, model-driven analyses supporting air dominance and strike capabilities. You'll translate stakeholder questions into physics-based simulations and analytical products that demonstrate how Anduril's autonomous defense technologies deliver military advantage.
What you'll do
- Develop model-driven analyses using the scientific method and internal modeling & simulation capabilities
- Design and execute mission-level simulation experiments to answer business and technical questions
- Build deep understanding of Anduril's autonomy, platform, perception, and simulation products
- Create clear written and verbal summaries of complex analytical findings for internal teams and external customers
- Conduct operations analysis studies from problem definition through report generation
- Quantify mission success impact of defense technologies through demonstration support

- AFSIM scripting (1+ years hands-on experience)
- Python or MATLAB programming
- Modeling and simulation (M&S) expertise
- Platform MS&A (aerodynamics, fuel, signature modeling)
- Payload MS&A (radar, EOIR, communications, weapons)
- RF/Electronic Warfare/EW knowledge
- Technical writing and presentation
- Signal processing or RF propagation modeling
