About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and analyze solid rocket motor components including cases, nozzles, and igniters. You'll conduct CAD modeling, finite element analysis, and support prototyping and testing while working on next-generation tactical rocket motor systems.
What you'll do
- Perform CAD design and mechanical component modeling
- Conduct finite element analysis for structural and thermal systems
- Create and review engineering drawings and product documentation
- Present designs and analysis in technical reviews with peers and customers
- Support prototyping, manufacturing, and testing at facilities and supplier sites
- Own development of critical subsystems from concept through completion
