About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Mechanical Engineer to develop portable command and control systems for aerial robotic teams that operate alongside ground forces. You'll own complex electro-mechanical design projects from concept through production, collaborating across disciplines in a fast-paced defense technology environment.

What you'll do

  • Execute rapid engineering concept evaluations and physics-based trade studies
  • Design, build, and test electro-mechanical systems with high ownership and autonomy
  • Lead design reviews, conduct hardware testing, and manage vendor relationships
  • Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition designs into production
  • Support customer hardware demonstrations and visit test sites as needed
  • Integrate ground and air vehicle systems with portable C2 platforms
