About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Mechanical Engineer to develop portable command and control systems for aerial robotic teams that operate alongside ground forces. You'll own complex electro-mechanical design projects from concept through production, collaborating across disciplines in a fast-paced defense technology environment.
What you'll do
- Execute rapid engineering concept evaluations and physics-based trade studies
- Design, build, and test electro-mechanical systems with high ownership and autonomy
- Lead design reviews, conduct hardware testing, and manage vendor relationships
- Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition designs into production
- Support customer hardware demonstrations and visit test sites as needed
- Integrate ground and air vehicle systems with portable C2 platforms
