About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop advanced hardware for high-speed missile platforms. You'll manage complete design lifecycles from concept through flight testing, applying physics-first principles to create resilient systems for contested environments.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and integrate mechanical hardware for high-speed air vehicles
- Lead design reviews, conduct engineering analyses, and manage vendor interactions
- Define and execute comprehensive hardware test plans and demonstrations
- Build prototypes, perform failure analysis, and transition designs to production
- Integrate electrical and mechanical subsystems for complex air platforms
- Travel to test sites and vendor locations as needed
