About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer to oversee quality assurance and production testing for advanced defense systems. You'll design test strategies, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, manage test automation improvements, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure products meet stringent standards and production timelines.
What you'll do
- Oversee production test flow, troubleshoot electrical failures, and resolve complex issues during manufacturing
- Maintain and improve test capabilities across system checkouts, acceptance testing, and component-level validation
- Create test work instructions and train technicians on equipment; develop failure mode libraries for quick resolution
- Perform root cause analysis on product failures and recommend corrective actions in collaboration with design and quality teams
- Analyze test data, generate reports identifying defects, and optimize test strategies to improve efficiency without compromising quality
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by providing early-stage test design feedback and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

- PCBA testing standards, methods, and electronic assemblies
- Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS
- Electronics test equipment operation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition)
- Root cause analysis and failure investigation
- PLM, MES, and Test Execution Systems
- Python, MATLAB, or data visualization tools (preferred)
- Computer hardware communication protocols (USB, Ethernet, RS232, CAN, PCIe)
