About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Process Development Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes for defense systems in Ohio. You'll develop work instructions, optimize assembly and dispensing operations, and provide production support in a fast-paced environment, with an initial 6-month training period in Santa Ana, CA.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize manual assembly processes for efficiency, quality, and repeatability in high-volume production
- Create comprehensive work instructions and process documentation with visual aids for consistent quality
- Engineer and optimize dispensing operations for adhesives, sealants, and thermal materials
- Provide on-site production support, troubleshoot process deviations, and maintain production flow
- Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and support new product introductions
