About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to optimize production equipment and drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness for defense technology manufacturing. You'll lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage automation systems including PLCs and robotics, and collaborate across teams to scale cutting-edge defense products efficiently.
What you'll do
- Analyze and optimize production equipment to maximize OEE while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Lead continuous improvement projects to increase yield, cycle time, and equipment availability
- Develop and maintain SCADA systems for real-time production monitoring and data analysis
- Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Support rapid production ramp-up for newly launched products
- Collaborate with process engineering, maintenance, quality, and design teams to resolve production issues
