About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the industrialization of Roadrunner, a cutting-edge autonomous VTOL counter-UAS system, at their new Arsenal-1 hyperscale facility in Ohio. You'll own the entire manufacturing value chain from prototyping through high-volume production, working cross-functionally to scale this critical defense product.

What you'll do

  • Manage manufacturing execution from prototyping through full-scale production of Roadrunner systems
  • Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback into product design and facilitate design-to-production transitions
  • Own technical documentation including MBOMs, work instructions, and manufacturing requirements
  • Develop production and test methodologies while implementing best practices for scaling operations
  • Collaborate with design teams and suppliers to optimize tooling, vendor partnerships, and quality assurance
  • Analyze manufacturing metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives for cost and capacity optimization
