About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support production of Sentry Tower Systems, a defense technology product. The role involves design-for-manufacturability work, process optimization, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with internal teams and contract manufacturers to scale electromechanical hardware from development to volume production.
What you'll do
- Support new product transitions from prototype to production using DFM/DFA methodologies
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and SOPs for consistent quality
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation solutions to increase efficiency
- Manage supplier relationships and travel to contract manufacturers for audits and issue resolution
- Perform root cause analysis on production issues and support quality planning efforts
- Maintain PLM data including BOMs, configuration control, and change management
