About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the production scaling of advanced drone systems from design through high-volume manufacturing. You'll bridge engineering and production, ensuring quality and efficiency while supporting multiple UAS platforms in a fast-paced defense technology environment.
What you'll do
- Guide product transition from concept through prototype and full-scale production
- Provide daily manufacturing support and solve mechanical, electrical, and software production issues
- Collaborate with design teams to implement design-for-manufacturing principles
- Create manufacturing documentation including BOMs, work instructions, process flows, and capacity analyses
- Travel to suppliers and partner sites for sourcing and process implementation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and quality
