About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build Command and Control software for Lattice, a mission autonomy platform powering autonomous aerial systems. You'll develop real-time backend services and operator interfaces that manage fleet coordination, telemetry, and increasingly, AI-driven autonomous behaviors across military robotic platforms.
What you'll do
- Develop backend services in Python, C++, Rust, or similar languages handling real-time telemetry and vehicle autonomy
- Build frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript for mission planning and fleet visualization
- Design data pipelines that process large volumes of sensor and operational data seamlessly into operator UIs
- Collaborate with Perception, Motion Planning, and Hardware teams to integrate complex autonomous behaviors
- Implement GenAI agent integrations enabling natural language control of autonomous assets
- Ship and iterate on production code deployed on physical hardware systems
What they're looking for
- Full-stack development (Python, C++, Rust, Go, Java, or JavaScript backend; React/TypeScript frontend)
- Real-time data processing and system architecture
- Distributed systems and cloud computing
- Autonomous systems or multi-agent system design
- Physics, mathematics, or motion planning knowledge
- Mission autonomy and defense technology experience
- Complex systems navigation and rapid iteration
- Collaborative problem-solving on ambiguous technical challenges
