About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Flight Test Engineer in Atlanta to conduct comprehensive testing and evaluation of the Altius autonomous UAS platform. You'll manage test planning, execution, and reporting while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure software and hardware integration meets operational standards.
What you'll do
- Plan, execute, and report on system-level flight tests for software and hardware capabilities
- Manage configuration and fleet maintenance for test assets, payloads, and software versions
- Develop evaluation test plans addressing functionality, safety, risk mitigation, and logistics
- Conduct test events, pre/post flight briefings, and operate Altius during system evaluations
- Collaborate with pilots, engineers, and operations teams to adjudicate findings and characterize issues
- Collect and analyze flight test metrics including sortie data and operational delays
