About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Flight Test Engineer in San Clemente to lead test planning and execution for the Ghost autonomous unmanned aircraft system. You'll evaluate software and hardware capabilities, manage test campaigns across multiple locations, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure operational readiness and system integration.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute flight test operations and campaigns at various test locations
- Develop test cards, conduct pre/post-flight briefings, and manage test events with cross-functional teams
- Manage configuration control and inventory of test assets to maintain mission capability
- Create test reports and prepare readiness reviews for stakeholders
- Collaborate with hardware/software engineers to adjudicate issues and characterize test findings
- Collect and report performance metrics that demonstrate product maturity and progression
