About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Flight Sciences Engineer to develop guidance, navigation, and control solutions for autonomous drone platforms. You'll lead aerodynamic design, flight simulation, and testing efforts across fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and hybrid VTOL systems in a fast-paced defense technology environment.
What you'll do
- Design and analyze aerodynamics for unmanned air vehicles using CFD and low-order methods
- Develop and validate high-fidelity flight simulation models
- Plan and execute wind tunnel and flight tests to evaluate aircraft performance
- Analyze test data to identify performance trends and system issues
- Develop and maintain in-house aerodynamic analysis tools
- Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
