Facilities Controls Engineer
About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Controls Engineer to manage and optimize building management and electrical power monitoring systems across their Ashville campus. You'll own day-to-day operations of complex HVAC, electrical, and utility systems while collaborating with facilities teams and external contractors on expansions and upgrades.
What you'll do
- Operate, program, and optimize campus Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS)
- Program and troubleshoot Direct Digital Control (DDC) and PLC systems, graphics, and alarm structures
- Manage external controls contractors and system integrators during facility projects and capital improvements
- Perform root-cause analysis on system failures and power quality issues using data trends and analytics
- Develop dashboards, graphics, and automated reports for energy tracking and equipment monitoring
- Maintain documentation including control schematics, system architecture diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures
