About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an EMI/EMC Test Engineer to develop and execute electrical compliance testing strategies for defense systems across multiple domains. You'll own electromagnetic resilience through rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement while supporting rapid product development.

What you'll do

  • Create and maintain test strategies and plans aligned with MIL-STD compliance standards (461, 704, 1275)
  • Design and deploy electrical system integration test benches and fixtures for various platforms
  • Conduct failure analysis and develop mitigations for test failures at component, integration, and system levels
  • Support environmental reliability testing including HALT/HASS on PCBAs and line replaceable units
  • Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to reproduce and characterize electrical failures
  • Validate automated test systems and support on-site commissioning and training

  • EMI/EMC testing and compliance standards (MIL-STD-461, 464, 704, 810, 1275)
  • Electronics test equipment operation (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, power supplies)
  • Python and/or MATLAB for data analysis and visualization
  • Root cause analysis and failure investigation
  • Hardware validation and integration testing
  • LabVIEW or similar test automation software (preferred)
  • Firmware integration and vehicle-level debugging (preferred)
  • Analytical modeling tools like SPICE or HFSS (preferred)
