About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an Embedded Linux Engineer to develop and maintain the operating system powering their robotics platforms deployed across land, sea, and air systems. You'll handle board bring-up, kernel customization with NixOS, and security hardening for embedded ARM systems used in defense applications.

What you'll do

  • Perform board bring-up and maintenance on embedded ARM boards including device trees, bootloaders, and kernel drivers
  • Customize vendor Board Support Packages (BSPs) for NixOS integration
  • Secure embedded Linux systems and triage vulnerability reports
  • Execute full software lifecycle from design through field testing and deployment
  • Implement automated testing for robotics platform software
  • Maintain and patch system components to mitigate security vulnerabilities
