About this role

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Controls Engineer to design and manage manufacturing automation systems across their factories. You'll develop PLC code, architect control system standards, and lead reliability improvements while supporting factory automation at scale.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and manage controls systems for manufacturing from ideation through commissioning and handoff
  • Write, debug, and maintain organized PLC code for Rockwell or Siemens platforms in high-volume applications
  • Architect and enforce internal standards for control system architectures, compliance, and safety
  • Integrate FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures
  • Install, configure, and tune servo drives and variable frequency drives
