About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an Aerodynamics Engineer to design and analyze hypersonic unmanned air vehicles and missile platforms. You'll own the full development lifecycle from conceptual design through flight testing, leveraging advanced aerodynamic analysis techniques and high-speed flow expertise.

What you'll do

  • Conduct aerodynamic design and analysis of unmanned air vehicles at multiple design maturities using low and high-order methods
  • Perform stability, control, and trajectory optimization analyses for performance evaluation and vehicle trades
  • Execute aerothermodynamic analysis and aircraft performance modeling for high-speed environments
  • Plan, execute, and analyze wind tunnel and flight tests
  • Develop and improve aerodynamic analysis tools and generate aerodynamic loads
  • Prepare formal technical documentation including specifications, test procedures, and reports
