About this role

Anduril seeks an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead software systems development for a Group 5 autonomous aircraft program. You'll translate customer needs into aircraft requirements, create systems engineering artifacts with full traceability, and manage program risks while ensuring airworthiness certification.

What you'll do

  • Convert customer needs into air vehicle and subsystem software requirements with cross-functional teams
  • Develop systems engineering artifacts including system models and digital thread documentation
  • Trace stakeholder inputs through design incorporating safety and software engineering disciplines
  • Support system architecture development for airworthiness certification
  • Communicate and manage program risks with Chief Engineer and Program Management
  • Create model-based systems engineering artifacts including viewpoints and diagrams
