About this role
Anduril Industries seeks Electrical Engineer Interns for a paid 12-week summer 2027 internship across multiple U.S. locations. You'll design electronics, develop firmware, troubleshoot hardware-software integration, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on defense technology projects.
What you'll do
- Design electronics from concept through prototype, including hardware selection and PCB design
- Troubleshoot electrical and software integration issues using lab equipment and debugging tools
- Develop firmware and software for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineers on product delivery
- Support new developments, active deployments, and customer-operated hardware in a fast-paced environment
- Manage concurrent involvement across multiple projects at various stages

- PCB design and electronics prototyping
- Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and test equipment operation
- Embedded systems and firmware development
- C/C++ and Python programming
- Git, GitHub, and JIRA workflow familiarity
- Embedded Linux development
- Hardware interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB)
- Altium Designer or similar EDA tools
