About this role
AnaVation seeks an experienced SIEM Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain Security Information and Event Management systems supporting mission-critical defensive cyber operations and threat detection across multiple classification levels in Washington, DC.
What you'll do
- Architect, engineer, and optimize SIEM platforms for defensive cyber operations and threat detection
- Configure and maintain network firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, and encryption devices
- Integrate log sources from firewalls, EDR, servers, cloud environments, and security appliances
- Optimize SIEM performance, storage architecture, and data retention policies
- Support incident response and compliance initiatives
- Ensure system scalability and sustainment across multiple classification enclaves
