About this role
AMT seeks an experienced Transportation Engineer to join its Raleigh office and contribute to diverse infrastructure projects involving roadway design, traffic analysis, and engineering assessments. The role offers hybrid work flexibility and exposure to multi-disciplinary civil engineering challenges across the firm's regional offices.
What you'll do
- Collect and analyze data for existing conditions and alternative solutions in engineering reports
- Design horizontal and vertical roadway alignments and cross sections
- Perform superelevation and roadside barrier design work
- Develop ADA-compliant curb ramp designs
- Create roadway models and traffic management/MOT plans
- Support multiple projects across various AMT office locations
