A/E firm AMT seeks a mid-level transportation engineer with 5+ years of experience to join their Richmond, VA office. The role involves designing roadway elements, performing engineering analysis, and supporting various transportation projects across disciplines including alignment design, ADA compliance, and stormwater management.
What you'll do
- Collect data and conduct existing condition evaluations for engineering reports
- Develop horizontal and vertical roadway alignments and cross-section designs
- Design superelevation, roadside barriers, and ADA-compliant curb ramps
- Perform roadway modeling and provide erosion/stormwater management plan support
- Create right-of-way, utility relocation, and permit application drawings
- Support traffic-related plans and coordinate with multiple office locations
