Product Engineer, Frontend
About this role
Ampersand seeks a Product Engineer to shape the frontend experience of their AI integration platform. You'll own the dashboard, UI component library, and customer-facing features while working closely with founders and customers to establish design standards for a developer-focused product.
What you'll do
- Design and develop the integration dashboard—a command center for engineers, PMs, and customer teams to manage integrations
- Build and maintain the embeddable React UI library that customers integrate into their own applications
- Conduct user testing and gather customer feedback to inform product direction
- Own full-stack feature development from design through implementation and customer communication
- Optimize frontend performance for data-intensive dashboards
- Rapidly prototype UI ideas using AI tools with creative freedom

- React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Full-stack development with willingness to work in backend languages like Go
- B2B SaaS or developer tools product experience
- Strong product intuition and customer empathy
- UI/UX design sensibility and great taste
- Communication and technical documentation
- AI tool proficiency and AI-forward thinking
- 4+ years building digital products
