About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Test Tool Developer/Integrator to design, develop, and deploy hardware and software test automation solutions for validating automotive and advanced engineering products. This hands-on role involves collaborating with global teams to build test benches, manage hardware resources, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
What you'll do
- Review automation requirements and design test solutions following client architectures
- Develop and integrate hardware and software for test benches (HIL, validation, EMC, CI/CT systems)
- Manage hardware procurement, inventory control, and deployment coordination
- Estimate costs and effort; create and maintain automation coverage schedules
- Support test bench development, deployment, and maintenance at Troy and customer locations
- Ensure quality, validation, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements
What they're looking for
- LabVIEW and TestStand (mandatory)
- Programming languages (Python, C++, CAPL)
- Automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Ethernet, TCP/IP, and network configuration
- A2B and analog audio experience
- Vector CANoe (desired)
- Linux OS (desired)
- RF testing or image processing/computer vision (desired)
