About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for car wash equipment, including PLC-based controls, schematics, and wiring diagrams. What you'll do
- Design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts for car wash equipment with PLC and motor drive systems
- Select and specify electrical components including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, relays, power supplies, and safety devices
- Ensure designs comply with electrical codes and standards such as NEC, UL 508, and UL73
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering on system integration and equipment design
- Provide manufacturing documentation, troubleshoot production issues, and support first article builds
- Develop and execute electrical testing, safety validation, and failure analysis plans
