Automation Engineer
About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Automation Engineer in Bellevue, Washington to design and support control systems for process automation, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming. You'll work across engineering documents, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide field support while managing project scope and schedules.
What you'll do
- Design detailed PLC, HMI, SCADA programming and related automation deliverables
- Review and interpret engineering documents including P&IDs, electrical schematics, and network architecture
- Manage project budget, scope, schedule, and communicate risks to teams
- Maintain Veolia process control documentation and standards
- Provide remote and on-site automation support for field and production activities
- Collaborate in cross-functional project discussions and client meetings
